Ongoing through June – Thursdays-Fridays, 8 am-1 pm and 5:30-8 pm; Saturdays-Sundays, 8 am-2 pm; Saturdays (Harvest Nights), 5-8 pm; 20899 Avenue 322, Woodlake. A 10-acre ranch with five varieties of organically grown blueberries. U-Pick: $5 per pound. We-Pick: $6 per pound. Wear closed-toe shoes, hat, and sunscreen. Upon arrival, please observe the 5 mph driveway speed and all field rules. Big L Ranch community health rules: (1) If you are sick or have been in contact with someone who is sick, please stay home. Music: That Little Band. $8 per person (children 5 and under are free); includes one pound of u-pick blueberries ($5 value). Bring seating; no ice chests or pets. Parking is limited; car-pooling recommended. Harvest Nights held each Saturday through June 20. ⇒THREE RIVERS COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE
Thursday, June 4, 2:30-6 pm, in the bloodmobile at Valley Oak Credit Union, Three Rivers. Make an appointment here to avoid wait time (it’s okay to show up without an appointment). All health and safety measures will be followed due to the COVID-19 virus. Blood donation takes less than one hour to complete. Donors must be in good general health, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be at least 17 years old. Senior citizens are encouraged to donate, as there is no upper age limit. Donors should eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours prior to their donation. Donors can give blood every eight weeks, the time it takes for the body to completely replace a pint of blood. A Social Security number is required for registration and all donors must present photo identification upon registration.
