When you accept the job of the Three Rivers resident deputy, going above and beyond the call of duty is just part of the territory. On Wednesday, August 14, Sheriff Mike Boudreaux held a special ceremony to recognize five department employees for their commitment and dedication to the job.
Two of the honorees were Three Rivers residents, both who are Tulare County Sheriff’s Office employees: Mark Frick, former Three Rivers resident deputy, who was recently promoted to sergeant, and Kyle Stark, current resident deputy who succeeded Frick last year.
Sgt. Frick was honored for outstanding performance in the Narcotics Unit for his handling of more than 40 cases in his first six months in the assignment. He also assisted in all marijuana operations and special details.
Deputy Stark was recognized for assisting a couple who were visiting Three Rivers with their disabled son. He was able to alleviate a very difficult situation for the family after their vehicle had broken down repeatedly.
